Cx C Review
A vibrantly illustrated book, tells the story of the courageous Diane Nash whose career in activism began as a black teenager in the South during the Civil Rights movement. We like that the story shares a piece of history with children that is so often overlooked or unknown even by adults! Parents and caregivers may find that they learn something while reading Neil Wallace's educational books. We also like that the story is told with the help of Bryan Collier's bright illustrations which help to move it along with interest. We should note that Diane Nash did not write this herself so some of the book is from the author's perspective.
